Turkish Meatball
Hello everyone, I am here to show you how to cook Turkish Meatballs which is another easy and delicious recipe!

I grow up with eating these meatballs and still cooking in my home all the time. These are so easy and freezer friendly. So whenever you make them you can make more than you need to freeze. That way it will help you to save time next time.

You can either fry them or cook in the oven which I showed in the video to make it more healthy. It is a good option if you are dieting or trying to eat healthy!

When I was kid, I used to love them with french fries or spaghetti. Try that when you are cooking for your kids, they will love that meal! For yourself you can either try with veggies, salad, soup, rice or whatever you want. They basically good with every side dish you can think of. I also recommend and serve a lot with Turkish Rice and Turkish Salad. Check those recipes and cook altogether to have some Turkish dinner.

These meatballs is one of the popular recipe that every family will cook frequently. Because, it is easy to make and delicious! Also you can freeze them to cook whenever you want. Kids mostly love with french fries or spaghetti, but they are good with veggies, rice, salad or soup too. Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1/2 bunch parsley
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt & black pepper
  • olive oil to cook

Instructions
 

  • Cut your onion small pieces.
  • Cut parsley.
  • Crush garlic cloves.
  • Add everything into bowl with ground beef.
  • Add bread crumbs, egg.
  • Add spices.
  • Mix with your hand but do not take long time for that we just want everything mix really good thats all.
  • Wrap it and let it sit in the fridge for at least 15 minutes. If you have time you can leave it for couple hours too.
  • When you are ready heat your oven for 375f (180c). Take oven pan and put parchment paper.
  • Shape your meatballs like I am showing in the video.
  • Brush both sides if the meatballs with olive oil.
  • Cook for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes take them out turn other side.
  • Cook another 15 minutes.
  • In total 30 minutes later they are going to be ready to eat. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Cooking time can change little bit depends on how big or small you made your meatballs. So, do not forget to check once in a while when you put them back.
  • These meatballs are good in freezer up to 2-3 months. So, make more than you need when you are making them to freeze to have an easy dinner next time. If you want to freeze you can either freeze without shaping them or shape and freeze like that. Do not forget to put parchment or wax paper between if you shape to prevent them to stick together. You can either thaw in the fridge the night before or take out from freezer directly brush with olive oil and cook in the oven like that.
  • I used 80/20 fat ground beef. You will get better result with that but always can make other types of ground beefs too.
