Turkish Chicken Recipe

Hello everyone! I have a Turkish recipe for you. It is Turkish Chicken Recipe which also calls Tavuk Sote in Turkish.

This is such an easy meal like a comfort food. Busy nights or the nights you can not find what to cook dish is this food. Because it is easy and ingredients are easily find. 

Another good part of this food is you can serve with whatever you want. Pasta, rice, salad, vegetables or soup whatever you have at home serve with this meal and have a good food! 

This food is cooked so often in Turkey. I think the reason is basically it is easy and delicious. That is why I wanted to cook it for you guys to show how an easy food can be so delicious!

It is also a really good option for healthy eating or as a diet food. You can use less oil to make it more healthy if you want to. Turkish Chicken Recipe (Tavuk Sote)

Turkish Chicken Recipe is pretty easy, comfort food. Busy nights, nights that you can not find what to cook dish is this one for sure! The best part you can serve with anything. Rice, pasta, veggies, salad or soup whatever you have at home make these together have some delicious meal!!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large chicken breast
  • 3/4 green bell pepper
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 small onion or 1/2 normal onion
  • 1 clove garlic mine was big you can use 2 clove
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken breast medium size pieces.
  • In another cutting board, cut onion, pepper, tomato, garlic so they will be ready. All are going to cut into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in the pan. Add chicken breast.
  • Sautee them for couple minutes. We are not going to cook all the way yet. When they cook little bit take from pan into a plate set aside.
  • In the same pan add onion and cook couple minutes.
  • Add pepper cook another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add chicken and garlic. Cook couple more minutes.
  • At last, add tomato paste, tomato, spices and water.
  • Mix it well and cover. Let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes it is going to be ready to eat! Enjoy!
