Hello everyone! We are making Green Bean In Turkish Style . Delicious, juicy and easy recipe!

Green Bean In Turkish Style

Green Bean In Turkish Style

Like my other vegetables Turkish recipes green beans are also very easy and delicious food Turkish people make all the time. Actually, mostly technique is the same with Turkish Style Cauliflower and Turkish Eggplant. Little bit vegetables, little bit meat and some spices turning into very delicious meal. Especially that juice is my favorite part! Just dip your bread into it and that will be all you need.

Green beans I am using are different than the original recipe. Because I am not able to find that kind of green bean in USA, I tried with what I have and it was a success! Of course that was enough for me to share with you guys.

You can eat this meal by itself but I mostly serve with garlic yogurt which is also a special thing for Turkish people. I am sure this is not your first time hearing if you have following me but if you are new yes we eat yogurt with our food. But not normal yogurt. It is garlic yogurt and yes taste is a whole another level. I also like to have Turkish Rice with this meal. Which you have to give it a try for sure!

Enjoy my Green Bean In Turkish Style recipe!

  • 1 lb green bean
  • 0.75 lb ground beef
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1-2 tsp salt
  • water it needs to be in the same level with beans there is no measurement

  • Start cleaning your green beans. Wash first than clean sides. I am using peeler for that. You can check on the video what way I am using to make this step easy. After done cleaning I cut (or just use your hand) beans into two.
  • Cut onion and garlic also tomato into small pieces like little cubes.
  • Add oil into deep pan and heat it.
  • Add ground beed once your oil hot enough and cook till it got brown. I am using my wood spatula or whatever you are using to mix food to mash ground beed to separate them.
  • Add onion with little bit salt and cook couple more minutes. Salt here just to give it little taste and make onion soft.
  • Add garlic cook couple more minutes. And add tomato paste do the same steps.
  • Lastly, add tomato and green beans with salt mix all of them really good. Add boiled water. It does not need to cover all just needs to be on the same line with green beans.
  • When juice start boiling which should be quick because water was already boiled, cover and let it cook. Its going to cook till beans are cook which for me took 30 minutes but time can change. So it is better to check after 20 minutes. Enjoy!
