Fish Taco

Hello everyone, in this video we are making delicious ` Fish Taco `.

We are making some red cabbage salad, sauce and blackened fish. All of them so easy to prepare but before that if you want to know how to make your own home made Blackened Seasoning do not forget to check my recipe. Making your own seasoning mix at home is healthier and cheaper. And so easy!

Blackened seasoning recipe:

This taco is so delicious. Its color with beautiful red cabbage and crunchy texture also sour taste from our lime sour cream sauce with spicy blackened seasoning fish. Delicious combination!

Blackened Fish Tacos


For Cabbage Salad:

  • 1 Cup Red Cabbage
  • 1/2 Orange`s Juice (I used fresh orange you can use normal orange juice aroun 1/3 cup)
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar


  • 4 - 5 Tbsp Sour Cream
  • 1/2 Lime (if you do not want too much sour put less and taste if you will want to add more add later)
  • 4 - 5 Cilantro
  • 1/2 Jalapeno 
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper


  • Cod Fish (or any different kind if you want to use another type of fish)
  • Blackened Seasoning (check my home made Blackened Seasoning recipe)
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil (to cook)

Taco Shell:

  • Small size flour tortilla (or different kind and size depends on you whatever you want to use will be okay)
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Red Pepper (i put 2 piece of each)

How To Make Taco Fish:

  • Cut cabbage and separate some of them if they are stick together like mine. 
  • Add orange juice and red wine vinegar. Mix with your hand. Let it rest in the fridge.
  • Add sour cream into shaker with lime, cilantro, jalapeno, salt, pepper. Blend them till it get sauce texture and pour into container. Let it rest in the fridge with salad till we cook our fish.
  • Cover your fish with blackened seasoning. You do not have to cover too much like i did if you do not like to have that much seasoning on it.
  • Pour olive oil into pan and heat it. When one side of your fish is done put that side down into pan so you can season other side at the same time. Be careful do not burn yourself or you can season both sides before put into pan.
  • While our fish is cooking heat oven for 350 F (180C). 
  • Place your tortillas into oven pan add cheese and pepper on top and heat till cheese melt and pepper get soft. It does not take too long maybe 5 minutes.
  • At last, on the top of tortilla first cabbage salad, fish at the end add some sauce.
