Chocolate Pie

Hello everyone, this Chocolate Pie is going to be your life saver easy to make and delicious dessert recipe to make whenever you want some dessert or for holidays or just for special events.

We all love desserts. There are dessert little bit more sweet, there are dessert little bit more healthy and there are some traditional dessert that have been making for years! We are going to make one of them today.

When I say chocolate, I mean chocolate like lots of chocolate! We are using a combination of cocoa, and two kind of chocolate to take this dessert one step further and make it more delicious!

You can either buy pre-made pie crust or make your own which is also very easy. I showed that also on the video. I used graham cracker but feel free to use some Oreo if you like to.

One of the easiest and delicious homemade Chocolate Pie is going to meet your desire of chocolate! We are using two different kind of chocolate and cocoa to take this taste one step further and way more tasty!

  • 23 oz graham cracker 2 individual packages that are coming out from big box
  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 package each dark & milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 3 cup whole fat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • little more chocolate to decorate on top


  • Use food processor or your hand to crush graham cracker into powder.

  • Melt butter and add into cracker. Mix them really good with spoon or spatula. Pour into the cup that you are going to use for pie.

  • Use measurement cup, glass or container type of things to press on cracker. Press all around to make them stick to each other to make pie crust. Do not forget sides too.
    Prepare pie crust
  • Heat your oven for 350 F (180 C). Cook pie crust for 10 minutes and check. It should be get brown color if not cook couple more minutes not too long.

  • When your crust is ready let it cool down for 1 hour.
  • When it cooled down start preparing filling. For that, cut chocolates into chunks.

  • Take sugar, salt, corn starch into deep pan. Stir them.
  • Add milk, egg yolk and cocoa. Stir and turn heat on. Heat should be medium high. Keep stirring during this time. After 6-8 minutes later it is going to start getting thicker. Couple minutes later you are going to see bubbles from boiling. Take it from heat.
  • Add butter, chocolates and vanilla. Stir them again.
  • When filling is ready pour into pie crust. Make it flat with spatula on top. Let it sit in the fridge uncover for about 4 hours.

  • After 4 hours take it from fridge and decorate with some more chocolate. You can either shave some chocolate on top like mine or put some chocolate chips or use your imagination and do something different.
