Chocolate Cake

Hello everyone, I have the most amazing and easiest Chocolate Cake recipe for you! You all going to love this and want to make all the time.

This recipe is such an easy one that you are going to want to make whenever you want some dessert. Or if you are going to friends's gathering, for birthdays, special days, weekends for kids or just anytime for your coffee or tea times.

It is good with any type of frosting. I tried with different ones before and all turned out perfect. But in this recipe I wanted to make taste lots of chocolate. Sauce is also going to be the easiest chocolate sauce that you can use for any type of cake or anything actually!! I will show different ideas to use this sauce on another post. 

Ingredients are simple cake ingredients that most of you already have in their home. Be sure to follow every step carefully to not make any mistake.

I have such a simple and most amazing Chocolate Cake recipe that you are going to want to cook for any special day, gatherings, weekends or anytime with some coffee, tea or ice cream combo!

  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup chocolate
  • 3-4 tbsp half and half / heavy cream


  • We are starting with mixing our dry ingredients.
  • Sift flour into bowl.
  • Add all other dry ingredients. (sugar, cacao, salt, baking powder, baking soda).
  • Mix all dry ingredients.
  • Start adding other ingredients excepts water. But this point make sure to have some boil water on the side.
  • Add milk, vegetable oil, vanilla and eggs in the same bowl.
  • Mix everything in low-medium speed. I used Kitchen Aid speed 2-3.
  • After they combine really good start adding water slowly and keep mixing at the same time.
  • After everything mixed heat oven for 350f (180c) and place cake mixture into oven pan.
  • Cook for 30-35 minutes.
  • 5 minutes before cake is done start preparing chocolate sauce. For that mix cream or half and half and chocolate into small bowl.
  • Put in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  • That should be enough so take it out mix and check if it is good if not give another 10 seconds.
  • Mix sauce with spoon really good until it get the texture in the video. You can add more chocolate or cream if it needs.
  • When cake is ready take it our and check if it cooks. For that use toothpick, knife or anything like that and stick into cake. When you take it out it should be dry. that means cake is ready.
  • With same thing that you used to check cake, make little holes all around the cake. Sauce is going to go through inside our cake from those holes.
  • Pour sauce on the top of cake while it is still hot.
  • Let is sit little bit because it is going to be hot and you can enjoy couple minutes later!


    • Make sure to mix dry ingredients first.
    • Add boiling water slowly and while you are still mixing. Because hot water will cause egg inside the mixture cook we are doing this step to prevent that. Do not add water just like that it wont be the same!
    • I used Kitchen Aid mixer but hand mixer will work perfect too.
    • I used semi-sweet chocolate chips you can use bitter. milk or any type just make sure they are small pieces so they can melt easily.
