Chicken Mushroom Casserole

Hello everyone, I have such a delicious ` Chicken Mushroom Casserole ` recipe.

Perfect family meal and so easy. Also, perfect meal to use leftover chicken. You can even use leftover rice if you do make sure to skip cooking rice part. 

We are cooking everything fresh. Thats what real food is right? Whatever we are buying from store even organic stuff does not mean they are good for us. If you check behind the packages especially can foods mostly they have lots of sodium. I know lots of people making this meal with can mushroom soup but is it worth to put that much sodium in your body? Think about it. Instead just spend 5 more minutes.

  • 1 Tbsp Of Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp Of Butter
  • 3 Portobello Mushroom
  • 2 Big Clove Of Garlic (or 3 normal)
  • 1/3 Of Red Onion (or any other onion)
  • 1 Cup Of Basmati Rice (or any other type you want to use)
  • 2 Cup Of Chicken Broth
  • 1+ 1/2 Cup Of Cooked Chicken
  • 1 Cup Of Heavy Cream (any other thing that can replace cream will work like half and half or milk just thickness wont be same)
  • 1/2 Cup Of Water
  • 1/3 Cup (2 Tbsp) Chopped Parsley
  • 1 Tsp Of Salt & Black Pepper


  • 1 Yemek Kasigi Zeytinyagi
  • Yarim Yemek Kasigi Tereyagi
  • 3 Buyuk Boy Mantar
  • 2 Buyuk Dis Sarimsak
  • 1/3 Kirmizi Sogan (diger turlerde olur)
  • 1 Cup Basmati Pirinci (istediginiz herhangi bir tanede olur)
  • 2 Cup Tavuk Suyu
  • 1 + 1/2 Pismis Tavuk
  • 1 Cup Krema (veya kremanin yerine kullanabileceginiz birsey)
  • 1/2 Cup Su
  • 1/3 Cup (2 Yemek Kasigi) Dogranmis Manydanoz
  • 1 Tatli Kasigi Tuz & Karabiber

How To Cook:

  • Heat oil and butter. Cut onion, mushroom and garlic. Add them into pan and cook. 
  • When they get softened add rice cook 2 more minutes like that.
  • Add salt, pepper and chicken broth.
  • Wait till it boil then turn down heat to lower and cover. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Uncover the pan. Add chicken, cream, water and parsley. Stir 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Put into oven pan and cover. Heat your oven 350 and cook another 15 minutes.

Nasil pisirilir:

  • Yaglarinizi tavada isitin. Mantar, sogan ve sarimsaklari dograyin ve yag isininca tavaya ekleyip pisirin.
  • Pisince pirinci ekleyip 2 dakika kavurun.
  • Tavuk suyunu ve baharatlari ekleyip kaynamaya getirin ve altini kisip ustunu kapatip 10 dakika pismeye birakin.
  • Pisince ustunu acip tavuk, krema, su ve maydanozu ekleyin 3 dakika daha karistirin.
  • Firin kabina alip ustunu kapatip 350 F (180C) 15 dakika daha pirin. Ve hazir.
