Hello everyone, we are making a side dish which is called Cacik and it is from my country Turkey.

We can call this as a side dish! In Turkey, we mostly eat with some meat or chicken. For instance, with Turkish Meatballs from my last recipe. Or you can try with Stuffed Zucchini Boats

Herbs are important part of this recipe. I used dry mint but it is also delicious with chopped fresh mint. Or with copped fresh dill also goes good with this taste too. We are also adding red pepper which not necessary if you do not like spicy.

So, I there is another thing that you need to be careful about is to use only Greek or homemade yogurt. Basically, yogurt that does not has any flavor in it. If you say I do not know how to make my own yogurt I have a video for that so you can try and see how easy to make your own Homemade Yogurt. I love everything make at home!! Fresh, delicious, cheap and way more healthy !!

Do not forget to put into fridge to let it cool before you eat. Than you can enjoy this delicious food!!
