Blackened Seasoning

Hello everyone, in this video I am showing how to make your own home made ` Blackened Seasoning `.

I prefer to make my own seasoning like blackened, taco because it is way more healthy and cheap. Store buy seasoning has lots of different ingredietns in them that i do not want to put in my body and I am sure you wont want that either. Plus they are mostly include lots of sodium. So why we are not making our own seasonings?

Making your own seaosning mixture is so easy. And one of the another good thing about it is you can make big amount to use later whenever you need. Just be sure to storage in a proper way. Any seasoning or spicies should be storage in a dark area that has no light in it and it also should be dry. Make sure to put into container or ziploc bag so that it wont take any air in it. That way your spices and seasonings will protect their tastes up to a year. 

Beucase you are buying yuor own spices separately, seasoning cost being way more cheaper and on the top of that you are having many different spices to use with different kind of foods. You can use to make different mixes or one by one to add flavor to your food.

Homemade Blackened Seasoning

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Paprika
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 Tsp Dried Basil
  • 1 Tsp Dry Oregano

How To Make Blackened Seasoning:

  • Mix all the ingrients into bowl. Make sure to put rest of it into container or ziploc bag after use it and storge in to dark and dry area.
  • Enjoy!
